NextGen Event at the Nürburgring:Let's work together to empower the next generation!
Successfully completing an apprenticeship is a special moment—and a milestone worth celebrating. At the NextGen event at the Nürburgring, graduates from various companies within the bluu unit came together to celebrate this achievement as a group and, at the same time, forge new connections within the group.
For three days, the focus was on meeting one another, exchanging ideas, and sharing experiences. We stepped away from our daily work routines and into an environment where we had time to get to know one another, share experiences, and celebrate a special milestone in our professional journeys together.
Networking Across Organizational Boundaries
The bluu unit Group brings together companies with different areas of specialization, experiences, and expertise. This group philosophy is intended not only to apply at the corporate level but also to be experienced by the next generation.
The NextGen event provides the perfect setting for this. Participants get to know colleagues from other companies within the bluu unit, gain new insights, and build connections that last well beyond the event.
This helps foster an early understanding of the opportunities a strong corporate group offers: sharing knowledge, learning from one another, and bringing together different perspectives.
Supporting Young Talent with a Vision for the Future
With an apprenticeship rate of around20%, the development of young talent is a top priority at bluu unit. After all, qualified professionals are essential for preserving knowledge over the long term and ensuring the company’s continued success.
However, support does not end with the successful completion of an apprenticeship. It is just as important to open up new opportunities for young people afterward, to support their professional and personal development, and to give them the chance to take on increasing responsibility.
Requirements are constantly changing, particularly in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation, as well as in data center solutions. Issues such as digitalization, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and technological advancement require in-depth expertise—but also people who are open to new ideas and actively help shape change.
An important milestone—and the beginning of more to come
The NextGen event was, above all, a celebration of what the graduates have already accomplished—and, at the same time, a shared start to the next phase of their careers.
